About
African Gospel Choir Dublin (AGC) is an all-volunteer choir of 15+ singers of African descent, founded in 2008 by Adeniyi Allen-Taylor. It blends African gospel, Negro spirituals, a cappella and American popular music, singing in English and in the members’ native languages. Its mission is making music with a purpose: bringing people closer to the Lord, developing the talents of young African singers in Ireland, and showcasing the richness of an all-African choir. It aims to inspire people positively and promote gospel music through African culture.
